Hello! I am a psychological associate in supervised practice–specializing in clinical and counselling psychology, as well as a registered psychotherapist.
My curiosity about the dynamics of human behaviour, social dynamics and societies naturally led me to the field of psychology. I am genuinely interested in connecting with people and learning about their life and histories.
I completed my undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of Alberta, followed by a Master’s degree in psychotherapy and spiritual care from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Master’s in counselling psychology from Western University. My academic background has been complemented by research in areas such as identity, gender socialization, violence, and trauma.
Additionally, I have developed a broad perspective on human behaviour and well-being through my wide range of experiences in various clinical settings, including community-based counselling centers, universities, and private practice settings. I also have extensive experience working with youth and young adults involved in the criminal justice system. Over time, I have chosen to focus specifically on providing psychological services to adults facing challenges such as historical trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, emotional disturbances, relationship issues, identity concerns, problematic behaviours, and loss or life transitions.
At the heart of my work is a humanistic philosophy grounded in warmth, truth, and respect for each individual’s experience. I believe in honouring each person’s uniqueness, which guides me in offering personalized care that supports their growth. I integrate evidence-based interventions within that framework to help clients navigate their challenges and achieve their personal goals.
