At Introspect Psychology, we value warmth, diversity, professionalism, and most importantly, people. As the author of Essentials of Supervision in Emotion-Focused Therapy and a passionate practitioner, Dr. Tarba is committed to bringing together like-minded professionals and creating opportunities for personal and professional growth, because we believe that everything is better together!
Psychological services for adult individuals with various presentations are offered in a trauma-focused environment. Our approaches are rooted in Psychoanalysis/Psychodynamic and EFT traditions, with a lens on existentialism and culturally-informed practice. Our clients come from all walks of life, diverse backgrounds, histories, and identities. We value in-depth, insightful and process-oriented approaches, but we remain open to other approaches, modalities and skills.
This position is ideal for a psychologist who wants to focus on clinical practice without the burden of administration, seeking referrals, marketing, etc., and who values connecting with colleagues for consultation and support in a thoughtful, intimate setting. We offer access to OWL Practice to facilitate scheduling, billing and payments, and video sessions. We are equipped to facilitate in person, online, and hybrid services. You will also have access to a beautiful, stylish office in Midtown Toronto (3-minutes away from the subway station) in the vibrant and diverse Davisville Community. You can go for mindful walks on the Beltline or enjoy food, shops, and grocery stores nearby.
To reduce professional isolation and ensure highest quality of care, we offer mentorship or clinical consultation whenever needed. Moreover, we are experts in psychodynamic, emotions focused, and experiential psychotherapies if you are interested in learning or expanding your knowledge and skills. Whether you are new to the profession or experienced, this can be an opportunity for growth, as we believe learning and evolving is a lifelong quest. We aim to create a supportive environment and a hub for knowledge sharing, education, and peer consultations.
